The summer season brings me back to school and university when I was eagerly waiting for it. This was the only time we had a long holiday to plan. I still remember how it was fun to travel with my brothers, we fought on the front car seat. If the fight of who would occupy the window seat would start when we travel by any Government means of transport. We have usually traveled to the mountains of North-East India where the tranquil environment has always been a happy experience. So, whenever it is possible, I squeeze in a teeny-weeny summer holiday in my schedule and head to any of the hill stations in India. One such destination that remains at the top of my travel bucket list, is the beautiful land of Kerala which boasts the best hill stations. If you too just like me are planning to travel to Kerala with friends and family this year, then this blog will help you create a perfect travel itinerary this summer.

 

1. Ponmudi

During the summer season, Ponmudi is a small enchanting hill station in Kerala. The place offers a breathtaking view of the mountains, green forests, waterfall waterfalls, and ravines, a perfect getaway for nature lovers, wildlife buffs and adventure seekers, located just 53 kilometres from Trivandrum.
